As the Marketing Manager – CEE Region, you will lead the planning and execution of all marketing and product marketing activities across the Central and Eastern European markets, with a strong focus on market entry, brand establishment, and dealer network support.
This role combines strategic marketing leadership with a hands-on, execution-driven approach. You will ensure that Changan's global brand strategy is effectively localized for each market, supporting new market launches, consistent brand communication, and close collaboration with local partners and dealers.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Marketing Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional marketing plan for the CEE markets in alignment with Changan's European and global strategy.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns covering digital, social media, CRM, PR, events, and retail activities.
- Manage local media agencies and PR partners to strengthen Changan's visibility and brand reputation.
- Collaborate with dealers and importers to co-develop local retail marketing initiatives (launch events, test drives, point-of-sale campaigns).
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and creative execution across all regional markets.
Product Marketing & Launch Support
- Act as a key liaison between the European Product Planning team and local markets to ensure effective product positioning and adaptation.
- Support vehicle launches by coordinating go-to-market campaigns, pricing communication, and product training materials.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and gather customer insights to inform product messaging and content development.
- Provide feedback on product performance, customer expectations, and market-specific feature needs.
Market Insights & Performance Tracking
- Analyze consumer behavior, automotive trends, and EV adoption patterns across the CEE region.
- Measure and report on marketing performance, KPIs, and ROI, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Prepare regular reports and recommendations for the European Marketing leadership team.
Requirement
s
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing or product marketing, preferably within the automotive or mobility industry.
- Strong understanding of the Central & Eastern European market environment and consumer landscape.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, PR, and dealer marketing.
- Exposure to product marketing or launch management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial, agile mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international team.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Hungarian or another CEE language (e.g., Czech, Slovak, Romanian) is a strong asset.
