The Manager of International Sales Unit role provides strategic direction, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and ensures the team's knowledge and focus are harmonized with the needs of the business units. The Line Manager acts as a role model, providing strong leadership and guidance to drive commercial success and professional growth within the team.
Your daily tasks will beLead, motivate, and develop the Key Account Manager team, ensuring high performance and engagementProvide regular coaching, feedback, and mentoring to support individual and collective growthFoster a collaborative and inclusive team cultureTranslate company strategy and annual priorities into actionable team objectivesAdjust team expectations and targets in line with evolving business prioritiesEnsure the team's activities are aligned with the strategic direction of the Commercial Directorate and relevant business unitsAssess and harmonize the team's knowledge base, ensuring best practices and expertise are sharedOrganize regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions to address gaps and support continuous learningBuild strong relationships with business unit leaders, SCM Head and other stakeholdersEnsure the team's focus and activities support business unit goals and cross-functional initiativesSet clear performance expectations and KPIs for the teamMonitor progress, provide guidance, and take corrective actions as neededConduct regular performance reviews and support career development pathwaysOversee the team's operational processes, ensuring efficiency and complianceDrive improvements in decision-making speed and process effectivenessProvide regular reports and insights to senior management on team performance, risks, and opportunities What we look in your CV
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred)Minimum 5 years' experience in international commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry, including team managementProven track record in leading teams, driving revenue growth, and improving profitabilityStrong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skillsExcellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skillsAnalytical mindset and ability to interpret financial/market dataFluency in English; additional languages are a plusWillingness to travel as required Power, Authority & Special Responsibilities
