Your Missions
ABOUT THE JOB
Ceva-Phylaxia seeks applicants for the full-time position of Unit Manager in the Bioreactor Team of Ceva's Phylaxia Campus in Budapest's 10th district. This is an onsite role with occasional flexibility for home office based on operational needs.

The Phylaxia Campus is one of the flagship sites of the Ceva Animal Health group. The Vaccine Production Team is responsible for manufacturing veterinary vaccines in a GMP-compliant environment. The team is committed to delivering high-quality products while strictly adhering to regulatory and quality standards.

What You'll Do
Reporting to the Manufacturing Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the vaccine production unit. You will be responsible for achieving production goals, managing a team of group leaders and operators, and ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Manage the vaccine production unit of 20–30 employees in a GMP-regulated environment
• Organize and supervise daily production operations to meet production plans
• Lead, support, and develop group leaders within the team
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, EHS, and Logistics
• Monitor and manage performance indicators (KPIs), and operate and improve the Tier performance system
• Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections, and implement follow-up actions

Your Profile
WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• A relevant degree in bioengineering, food engineering, chemical engineering, or pharmacy
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar production environment, including 2–3 years in a leadership role
• Proficient English skills, both written and spoken
• Practical knowledge of GMP; familiarity with HACCP and ISO 9001 standards
• Independent decision-making skills and a proactive mindset
• Lean thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Open-minded and positive personality with a strong EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) awareness
• Aseptic behavior and strict adherence to hygiene regulations
