Partner in Pet Food (PPF) is an innovative, leading European pet food producer, supplying over 600 customers, including major grocery retailers, supermarkets, specialized pet shops in the 40 markets in which it operates.
PPF is the second largest producer of Retailer Brand wet and dry pet food in Europe, offering a full range of high quality cat and dog food products.
PPF is headquartered in Hungary, employs around 3.000 staff and has operations in 10 countries.
We are looking for a Jr. Key Account Manager, who would like to be a part of our international team.
The primary responsibility of a Junior Key Account Manager is to manage and grow strategic relationships with key retail and distribution partners in the FMCG sector. This role focuses on driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and executing joint business plans that align with the company's objectives.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Account Management
: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and wholesale partners to drive sales and profitability. - Sales Growth
: Meet sales targets by optimizing listings, pricing, and promotions. Support private label development and manage tenders. - Business Planning
: Support annual planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and promotional calendars. - Negotiation
: Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, and promotional support with partners. - Senior KAM Support
: Help manage customer relationships and prepare for client meetings. - Campaign Execution
: Coordinate marketing activities, promotions, and in-store merchandising. - Cross-functional Work
: Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance to execute account plans. - Market Insights
: Monitor trends, customer behavior, and competitors to refine strategies. - Performance Tracking
: Analyze KPIs and recommend actions to improve results. - Inventory Coordination
: Ensure stock availability and minimize out-of-stock risks. - Other Duties
: Support additional tasks as assigned to meet sales goals.
You are the right fit, if you have:
- University degree, ideally in Economics, Business, or Marketing
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and at least 1 year in key account management
- High computer literacy, including experience with integrated systems
- Strong market knowledge and awareness of current trends
- Excellent communication, presentation, and networking abilities
- Reliable, precise, and capable of working independently
- Strong goal orientation and results-driven mindset
- Solid administrative and organizational skills
- Proficient in English at a negotiation level
