Job Overview:

As a Consultant within our Office Leasing team, your primary focus will be on business development and client relationship management. You'll engage in a variety of tasks, from prospecting and networking to representing client interests and preparing transaction documentation. This role offers exposure to the commercial real estate market in Budapest and the chance to collaborate closely with industry professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities through various channels, including in-person meetings, phone calls, and networking events.
  • Maintain an updated contact database and track progress using Avison Young's CRM system.
  • Represent client firms in locating suitable spaces, including conducting research, coordinating tours, and evaluating proposals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to devise proposals and strategies for client presentations.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry professionals and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise in commercial real estate transaction services, particularly in leasing and property marketing.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for transactions, including proposals, listings, and offers.
  • Stay informed about the Budapest commercial real estate market and leverage this knowledge in client interactions.
  • Promote the Avison Young brand and service lines while collaborating with Principals and Directors to optimize business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in real estate, hospitality, or a related commercial field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Hungarian and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Computer literacy, especially with the Microsoft Office suite.
