The Energy Year is a global business intelligence platform operating in more than 30 markets worldwide. We produce strategic energy reports, conduct high-level interviews with industry leaders, and work closely with governments, operators, and service companies across the oil, gas, and renewables sectors. We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to support our finance operations. This role is essential to keeping our financial processes smooth and efficient across multiple countries. You will be responsible for bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, and routine weekly and monthly reporting, as well as assisting with collections and payment follow-ups from our global clientele.

Tasks
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
  • Prepare and send invoices to clients
  • Process employee salaries
  • Generate weekly and monthly financial reports
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and support collections
  • Assist with other finance-related tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Comfort managing invoices, payment tracking, and client follow-ups
  • Basic understanding of financial reporting and payroll processes
