Main responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting team and ensure regular deadlines are met.
  • Support and lead ongoing R2R projects.
  • Onboard new team members and participate in the selection process.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance continuously.
  • Establish process descriptions and deliver continuous training.
  • Implement and review controls for each entity within scope.
  • Develop and review new reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Contribute as a lead during annual audits.
  • Review and approve journal entries.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Share best practices and back up team members during emergencies.



Required skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a accounting role
  • At least 1 years of experience in people management/mentoring/supervising
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English
  • Deep knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
