Mechanical Engineer Structural Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer Structural Analysis Specialist to join our team at Flowserve. As a key member of our global engineering organization, you will be responsible for performing in-depth structural mechanical and rotor dynamic analysis on our products, including valves, pumps, and seals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural and vibration engineering analyses on products to ensure design adequacy and compliance with applicable design requirements.
- Execute the impact of design modifications on structural design and define critical dimensions of products and components.
- Conduct different types of mechanical analysis and reporting, including torsional and lateral analysis on products.
- Perform structural and thermal analysis of pressure vessels and rotating equipment, and carry out finite element analysis (FEA) of machine components and sub-assemblies.
- Review and evaluate customer specifications and supplier quotations related to technical acceptability of the mechanical design.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7 or more years of experience in applied structural mechanical analysis, specifically rotating equipment.
- Background working within a customer-oriented working environment.
- Knowledge of complex pump/seal/valve design, hydraulic drawings, and finite element analysis packages (ANSYS).
- Fluent in English language.
