Mechanical Engineer Structural Analysis Specialist

Flowserve Corporation is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer Structural Analysis to join our team.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing structural and rotor dynamic analysis on all product lines of Flowserve, including valves, pumps, and seals. This will involve working with customers to understand their requirements and developing solutions that meet their needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on structural analysis and design. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform structural and rotor dynamic analysis on all product lines of Flowserve
- Work with customers to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
- Develop and maintain design tools and processes to improve efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet customer requirements and industry standards
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reliability
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 7 or more years of experience in applied structural mechanical analysis, specifically rotating equipment
- Background working within a customer-oriented working environment
- Knowledge of complex pump/seal/valve design, hydraulic drawings, and finite element analysis packages (ANSYS)
- Fluent in English language
