Mechanical Engineer Structural Analysis Specialist

Flowserve Corporation is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer Structural Analysis to join our team in Budapest, Hungary.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing structural and rotor dynamic analysis on various products, including pumps, valves, and seals. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the design meets customer specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform structural and vibration engineering analyses on products to ensure design adequacy
- Execute the impact of design modifications on structural design
- Define critical dimensions of products and components
- Conduct mechanical analysis and reporting, including torsional and lateral analysis
- Perform structural and thermal analysis of pressure vessels and rotating equipment
- Carry out finite element analysis (FEA) to determine stress, strain, and natural frequencies
- Review and evaluate customer specifications and supplier quotations
- Assess FEA results against customer specifications and industry standards
- Submittal of high-quality contractual documentation
- Plan, direct, and coordinate structural engineering activities
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in applied structural mechanical analysis, specifically rotating equipment
- Background working in a customer-oriented environment
- Knowledge of complex pump/seal/valve design and hydraulic drawings
- Fluent in English language
- Extended knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, 3D modeling software, and finite element analysis packages
