Mechanical Engineer Structural Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in structural analysis to join our team at Flowserve. As a Mechanical Engineer Structural Analysis, you will be responsible for performing structural and rotor dynamic analysis on our products, including pumps, valves, and seals.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform structural and vibration engineering analyses on products to ensure design adequacy and compliance with applicable design requirements.
- Execute the impact of design modifications on structural design and perform critical dimension definition.
- Conduct mechanical analysis and reporting, including torsional and lateral analysis on products.
- Perform structural and thermal analysis of pressure vessels and rotating equipment.
- Carry out finite element analysis (FEA) of machine components, sub-assemblies, and related support structures.
- Review and evaluate customer specifications and supplier quotations related to technical acceptability of the mechanical design.
- Assess FEA results against customer specifications, industry, and Flowserve design standards and procedures.
- Submittal of high-quality contractual documentation in accordance with customer/industry code requirements.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7 or more years of experience in applied structural mechanical analysis, specifically rotating equipment.
- Background working within a customer-oriented working environment.
- Knowledge of complex pump/seal/valve design, hydraulic drawings is a plus.
- Fluent in the English language.
- Extended knowledge of Microsoft office programs, 3D modeling software (SolidWorks), Finite element analysis packages (ANSYS), and ERP systems.
