We are seeking an experienced Chief Accounting Operations Manager to join our team in Budapest XI.

Salary

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately 1,200,000 HUF per month, complemented by an attractive compensation package. Job Description

As a Chief Accounting Operations Manager, you will be responsible for incoming (vendor) invoice processing, workflow monitoring and actions, vendor account monitoring and reconciliation, and other accounts payable related tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Incoming (vendor) invoice control according to actual regulatory requirements;
  • Workflow monitoring and actions, including open items checking and clearing;
  • Vendor accounts reconciliation;
  • Controlling and posting advance invoices, compensations, and assigned payments;
  • Period-end related tasks, such as GR/IR account reconciliation and clearing, accruals calculation and posting, and vendor account reconciliation;
  • Monitor, assess, and propose process adjustments in case of regulatory changes;
  • Continuous improvement projects initiation and completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum secondary school graduation;
  • 3-5 years working experience, preferably in the field of accounting/accounts payable;
  • Fluent English or Slovak/Czech knowledge;
  • User-level computer skills;
  • A customer- and service-oriented mindset;
  • SAP knowledge and intermediate Hungarian language skills are more than welcome.
