With over 10 million downloads and 30,000 stars on GitHub, Appsmith is a rapidly growing platform. We're looking for a skilled Product Designer to lead our design efforts and help shape the future of our product.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, with experience in leading design teams and developing design strategies that align with business goals. They will be responsible for ensuring design quality and consistency, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing mentorship and guidance to junior designers.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the design process, from concept development to final implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams and conducting research.
- Ensure design solutions are of high quality and consistent with the company's brand and design standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as product managers, engineers, and marketing, to ensure design solutions align with business goals and user needs.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, helping them develop their skills and grow in their careers.
- 8+ years of product design experience.
- Strong knowledge in information architecture and interaction design.
- Craft obsession: a keen eye for details in copy and hands-on visual design.
- Strong systems thinker: passionate about the big picture and the details.
- Ability to nurture and mentor a group of designers in their craft.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to get the team on board with your vision.
- Experience in working with component-based design systems.
- Very high ownership: ability to thrive in startups with a fast-paced environment and take ownership for working through ambiguity.
- Portfolio of work demonstrating strong user focus, methodical solutions to complex problems, efficient interaction design, and superb attention to detail.
