Our VisionWe believe every organization should have the ability to develop high-performing internal applications quickly and cost-effectively. Every enterprise needs to create custom internal applications, spending between 10% to 40% of their engineering resources on them. Yet, they often take a backseat to customer-facing applications due to their complexity, expense, and slowness to build. Appsmith is already enabling software engineers to transform how they build internal apps, often building them 10 times faster with Appsmith. What to ExpectAs a Technical Support Engineer at Appsmith, you'll provide help to our users to debug a database connection, write examples of JavaScript code in the event of a particular customer use case, and work together with engineers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve customer issues. We believe every customer query is valuable, and we want you to act quickly in providing product support for all customer inquiries that we receive via any channel, including chat, email, or social media forums.
RequirementsWe're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience interfacing with customers and assisting them with support requests for a technical product. You should have hands-on experience in JavaScript, NoSQL, and SQL, and be able to create and improve technical documentation to help users help themselves. Additionally, you should be able to fix bugs in our codebase and have a great urge to learn new technologies. Experience working in TypeScript, setting up and/or using Appsmith or other low-code products, and open-source contributions are a plus.
