Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Customs Specialist to join our team in Hungary. As a key member of our customs department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations and policies, supporting our EMS partners' customs business, and maintaining accurate customs classification and HS code databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow up and study customs regulations and related policy changes to ensure compliance.
  • Support EMS partners' customs business by providing expert guidance and assistance.
  • Responsible for customs classification, maintaining accurate HS code databases, and providing HS codes for EMS and suppliers.
  • Participate in supplier meetings and internal trainings to stay up-to-date on customs regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor and follow up on customs clearance-related KPIs to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Support customs audits by collecting requested materials and collaborating with auditors.
  • Provide daily support for customs operations in Europe Region countries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, logistics, international trade, or customs education.
  • At least 5 years of experience in customs management or operation, preferably in a manufacturing company or forwarding company or customs authority.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong learning ability, teamwork spirit, and work initiative.
  • Open to working in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in systems and MS Office package.
