About the Role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior German Language Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for our customers via phone and email
  • Create and assign tickets in our ticketing system
  • Decide on the best course of action to address customer needs
  • Take part in the Request for Quotation process
  • Document all required information as per instructions
  • Manage the process for raised inquiries and complaints to resolution
  • Maintain customer databases
  • Create and maintain equipment records
  • Assess the need for change and implement to increase productivity
  • Build positive relationships with internal departments and customers

Requirements

  • 1+ years' customer service experience
  • High school graduate, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Fluency in German and English languages, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skill and result-oriented demeanor
  • Display attention to detail and accuracy in the workplace
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
