GENERAL MANAGER in BUD / EMEA region

hiring general manager in Budapest to manage a co-living and co-working community shelter in the capitol of Hungary.

responsibilities

  • manage and develop the space in partnership with the deputy general manager

  • build and maintain target occupancy for co-living and co-working rooms

  • manage day-to-day community operations and ensure community policies and house rules are followed

  • oversee budget to ensure the business is operating as projected, track income and expenses, review accounts payable invoices, identify trends and ways to reduce costs

  • manage the property and be responsible for 3rd party activities being carried out such as cleaning, gardening, maintenance, etc.

  • keep the utilities and facilities of the co-working and co-living up and running (water, heating, electricity, trash, network, bathrooms, kitchens)

qualifications

  • advanced spoken and written English or German or Vietnamese or Mandarin and advanced spoken and written Hungarian

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in the hospitality, industry, sales, operations or co-living, co-working management, architecture, interior design, tourism

  • strong organizational skills, a passion for hospitality, working with people and building community

  • BA/BS strongly recommended and not mandatory

  • creativity / resourcefulness / efficiency

  • eagerness to be a part of a positive, creative and dynamic work environment

  • you have a roll-up-your-sleeves / no task too big or too small mentality
