About The Job
As a Consolidation Analyst, you will support the execution of monthly group consolidation activities from Budapest. Working under the supervision of the local Consolidation Lead, you will contribute to intercompany reconciliation, SAP-FC package validation, internal control documentation and lease reporting compliance.
This role is a great opportunity to grow technical consolidation skills and participate in cross-functional projects within a global organization, gain a solid understanding of IFRS consolidation, intercompany reconciliation and group-level reporting requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Participate in the collection, review and validation of financial data submitted by affiliates.
Perform first-level reviews of financial submissions from affiliates and contribute to the aggregation of local analytical and provision files.
Support the reconciliation between ERP financials and consolidation packages; track anomalies and escalate when necessary.
Assist in the preparation of monthly consolidation analyses (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Support intercompany reconciliation efforts by investigating mismatches and proposing corrections.
Assist in reviewing new lease contracts to ensure compliance with IFRS 16.
Assist in preparing consolidated information related to various submissions : headcount, pre-close, SEAL ...
Contribute to the documentation and standardization of consolidation processes.
Help monitor the consistency of data flows and contribute to preliminary analytical reviews.
Collaborate with controlling and accounting teams within GBS and local affiliates.
About You
- Experience: First experience (internship or 1–2 years) in accounting, finance, audit, or consolidation.
- Skills:
- Collaborate with controlling and accounting teams within GBS and local affiliates.
- Knowledge of IFRS principles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn consolidation processes.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a multicultural team.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
