As a Business Development Specialist at Kardex, you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and expanding into untapped industries and territories across Hungary. Your role focuses on promoting Kardex's full portfolio of automated storage and logistics solutions, consulting clients on operational efficiency, and closing new business opportunities.

Your tasks

  • Promote and sell Kardex's full product and service portfolio to new customers.
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities in untapped or underpenetrated industries and territories.
  • Consult customers on operational efficiency and material flow optimization (including software solutions).
  • Develop and execute territory or industry penetration plans.
  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound methods (calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, events).
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and manage the full sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams on lead generation and customer events.
  • Prepare offers, conduct negotiations, and close deals.
  • Represent Kardex professionally at customer sites, fairs, and industry events.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and country-specific regulations.

Your profile

  • University degree in Engineering, Marketing Management, Automation, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in technical capital goods, services, or software.
  • Proven experience in outbound sales and new customer acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of production and distribution logistics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Fluent in English (B2/C1 level).
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Hungary.
  • Valid driving license.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in intralogistics or high-volume technical sales.
  • Background in project sales or complex technical solution selling.
  • Knowledge of industrial B2B marketing.
  • Experience with CRM-based customer segmentation and pipeline analysis.
  • Proficiency in Jira and HubSpot.
  • Intralogistics knowledge or experience in an industrial environment.
