The Program Support Specialist is empowered, and responsible, to provide program support, assistance, and advisory for service, reporting to the head of GCID Service Reliability Engineering and the leadership team in planning, project and coordination. Responsibilities include Media/Presentation development and preparation, maintaining technical service documentation and project sites, project management and execution, deliverable coordination, and scheduling, and capture of relevant information. Engagement points will be both internal and external to the GCID Service Reliability Engineering team, where you will represent our team. In addition, you will significantly support strategic initiatives execution supporting leadership.
This position requires a motivated, aware, and self-starting individual, who actively looks for ways to contribute. It will give you vast exposure to the business, process, and technology of SAP. You will be an influencer who is part of a globally diverse team, which spans multiple nations and cultures, and you will be expected to adapt and manage accordingly.

An ideal candidate for this position would be a proactive, results-oriented individual with strong technical/engineering project management skills, excellent communication and multimedia abilities.
What you´ll do:
• Support of strategic GCID Service Reliability Engineering initiatives (Observability, SRE, Taskforces, Workstreams and Projects)
• Maintain top-level GCID Service Reliability Engineering process knowledge, awareness, and obligations
• Preparation of presentations, materials, media, management documents and conference/meeting information.
• Preparation of meetings with key internal and external stakeholders
• Liase between the management team and other parties
• Assisting in all relevant topics
• Management team support
• Drive an array of small to medium sized technical service projects
• Some scheduling and administration management tasks and activities
• Direct support to the Head of GCID Service Reliability Engineering

• Strong multimedia skills (presentation, video, written)
• University degree in a related field
• Post-graduate degree is a plus, Professional experience in fast-paced IT environment is a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Tools
• A strong preference if you have a communications or marketing background
About the team
Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID) develops and delivers services for cloud infrastructure and cloud operations to SAP Lines of Business (LoB) and through them, our external customers. We support LoBs and their customers' cloud adoption journey through four hyperscaler public clouds and SAP's Infrastructure-as-a-Service.
GCID Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a team within the GCID organization. It contributes to ensure the reliability and availability of SAP cloud services (internal or external) by developing and enhancing Observability tools that help to either prevent or isolate an incident. The team is responsible for the centralized Observability platform, known as The Monitor of Monitors (MoM) powered buy OctoBus (Elasticsearch).
SRE’s proactively help automate and optimize processes. The SRE team runs globally in a follow the sun model.
