Customer Experience Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Happiness Manager to join our team at Reedsy. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for offering exceptional support to authors, creative publishing professionals, and optimizing conversion.
Reedsy is a marketplace that connects authors with the industry's best publishing professionals. We have grown to a community of 1,000,000 authors and over 3,000 freelancers in just a few short years, while picking up a number of industry awards along the way.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of publishing professionals and help shape the future of book publishing. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and have a keen interest in the publishing industry, we encourage you to apply.
The ideal candidate will have
- 5+ years of customer support experience (Intercom, Crisp, Zendesk, etc.)
- Experience automating support processes
- Great understanding of on-boarding and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques
- Entrepreneurial minded
- Strong writing skills, you can write clearly and accurately, with perfect grammar and spelling
- Native-level English speaker
- Availability to work every other weekend
Salary range: $25k - $45k per year.
